Schilens starts… and catches
Chaz Schilens not only is in uniform today, he started at wide receiver alongside Darrius Heyward-Bey. First play of the game: Schilens catches a 6-yard pass from JaMarcus Russell on a slant. If that seemed like a good omen, it was. The next play, Michael Bush broke two tackles and roared for a 60-yard gain, with Heyward-Bey leading interference downfield.
Justin Fargas dove in from a yard out on second-and-goal, and the Raiders were off to a great start against KC.
