Quarterback Jeff Garcia, the newest Raider, talked to hosts Tim Ryan and Pat Kirwan yesterday on SIRIUS NFL Radio’s “Movin’ the Chains” show.

The last time Raiders fans saw Jeff Garcia, he was being vexed by the Oakland defense in the final game it would ever play under coordinator Rob Ryan. Garcia didn’t look particularly good in the Raiders’ 31-24 win at Tampa last December, completing 17 of 33 passes. But that game could never overshadow the one he played at Oakland on Nov. 3, 2002.

Common wisdom currently says the Raiders will take a wide receiver with the No. 7 overall pick later this month.
