JaMarcus’ problems
OK, maybe JaMarcus has settled down.
After an abysmal first quarter, Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell had a nearly perfect second quarter. He would have been 8 of 8 for 85 yards in the second frame, had Zach Miller’s 29-yard catch on the sidelines not been overturned on replay. It was a good call, so the scattered boos weren’t justified. Still, it was a decent rebound by the big QB.

So far, JaMarcus is weak link
In Week 1, the Raiders proved they could trade punches with one of the NFL’s elite teams. In Week 2 they showed they have the fortitude to pull out a close game. Now they must prove they have a capable quarterback.

Nick Miller has stress fracture
It turns out Nick Miller has a lot more than shin splints. The rookie wide receiver and kick returner went for a bone scan yesterday, and it revealed a stress fracture in his lower right shin, right above the ankle. He’s expected to miss four to six weeks.
