A week or two ago, coach Tom Cable said the Raiders were on the verge of getting healthy. He sounded excited about the prospect. Now it looks like the team is regressing instead of healing.

How do you measure a blowout? It’s relevant, because Tom Cable’s Raiders suffered another crushing defeat Sunday. I wanted to know how Cable stacks up against the Raiders coaches who preceded him.

I almost hate to do this to you, but here is the ENTIRE Gary Lieberstein press conference from Napa this afternoon. Yeah, it’s hefty, but there are some highly interesting nuggets in here regarding the Hanson vs. Cable case.

I have to say I wasn’t surprised by the Napa DA’s decision to drop the Tom Cable case. Maybe you were. If so, it may have been because of the way news was disseminated in this story.

Napa County District Attorney Gary Lieberstein is saying that his office will send out a press release after 2-3 p.m. today explaining their “filing decision” in the Tom Cable – Randy Hanson investigation. Check here this afternoon for another update.

Nothing new from the Napa County district attorney on Cable vs. Hanson, as of Wednesday early evening. In the locker room today, though, cornerback Stanford Routt said he’s had “a conversation or two” with Randy Hanson.
