News out of Oakland says that Jerry Porter, the moody wide receiver who played for the Raiders from 2000 to 2007 before falling off the NFL map, had $312,000 worth of jewelry stolen out of his BMW while he was “inside an Oakland salon getting a facial.” Leading to several questions…

The NFL announced yesterday that Jon Condo had been added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster as a “need player.” That spot now generally goes to a long snapper, which has become a highly specialized position in the league, and Condo is one of the best.

Where JaMarcus is king

It isn’t the whole world that views JaMarcus Russell as an anchor pulling the Raiders’ offense (and perhaps their future) below the waves.
